Biotemps - A Template for Success! Whenever we get ready to do a large case, it is important to perform all the steps needed to diagnose and plan the case accurately. This, we feel, is where our office excels. Using diagnostic models from our original workup, we can have cases waxed for preview or we can make preparation templates to guide the shaping of your teeth. More importantly, we can have cosmetic temporaries made to act as a guideline or preview of the final result. We send your diagnostic casts to a laboratory in Southern California where artists will craft a set of custom "shells". These shells will be used on your big day to protect the teeth and give all of us a chance to work out details like color, shape and spacing.
