Years of patchwork left his teeth with a myriad of composite bonding and cavities. In addition, there were indications of severe grinding and wear. We chose to restore this case with Captek - a revolutionary 22k gold substructure that masks the dark areas while providing a base for very esthetic porcelain work. There are no black margins with captek and it is very healthy for the gums. They are also very strong and able to resist grinding and clenching. We also used a special low-wear porcelain to protect the lower teeth from grinding.
